New Pictures

I don't really have anything new to say, I just wanted to post some of these cute pictures of our boys.

E has recently discovered popsicles. He is a pest if he sees you with one. He will climb all over and attack you until you let him have some. It's pretty funny.

See that wide eyed innocence? It says, "Sleep? Me? Why would you think I need sleep?"

I have to have a couple with me in them sometime or else my kids will think I never existed when they were little.

I like that E has his hand on G's leg in this picture. He adores his big brother, it's really amazing to see how much he admires G. I feel so fortunate that they have each other. Siblings really are a blessing--no matter how annoying they are when you are growing up! Not that I was ever an annoying sibling or anything...ever...

I just thought this was a cute (and rare) moment. He can sit up but he won't. Why would you sit? It means you have to be still; what would that achieve?

Busy Boy

Well it finally happened, E has figured out how to self propel. We knew this day would come. I'm so happy and sad at the same time. I'm happy because it's always cool to watch your kids progress, but sad because it means he's growing up and also that he has become even busier than I thought humanly possible! Seriously, today he pulled the kitchen garbage can over on top of himself. He was covered in garbage. Awesome.

Anyway, Grandma has requested some videos of his little army crawl, so I thought I'd better deliver. I'm sure it won't be long before he gives it up for the faster hands and knees version.

In other news, after a year of owning our Mac we found and began playing with photo booth. Fun! Here are some of our favorites...

Two Cool Dudes

Yesterday G asked me to put gel in his hair so that it would look cool. (Nevermind the fact that he touches it so much it never stays spikey. How do other mothers do it?)
As I was putting the gel in his hair he said, "and Daddy helps me put on cologne so that I can smell good."
"Oh really?" I replied, "do you do it for the ladies?"
"Yeah," he said, "I like the girls that match."

I'm not sure what that means...twins?? I'm afraid we might be in trouble when this kid hits the teenage years.

Broken up

Ahhh! So I got this really cool book from the library on making artisan bread and look what happened!!

This picture says everything about the condition of my pizza stone, my heart, and my current relationship with this book.

However....
the bread does look good right? Maybe the book and I can reconcile. Maybe.

Here is another loaf I made a couple of days ago. It was good.
Ok, I think we might get back together after all.
