E's brand of potty training

E has decided that he is semi interested in potty training. I say semi because he does it when it suits him and the other day it suited him to poop in his underpants at Target.

Imagine, if you will, this scene in a Target restroom. Enter me, trying to help him clean out his underpants/not smear poop everywhere and figure out how to get him to the car. My supporting characters are E, who is not sure what to do and is inadvertently spreading the poop. Miss H, who of course has no shoes on, and is toddling around on a public restroom floor and trying to stick her hands in the toilet. And finally G, who I am asking to restrain Miss H so we don't all die from some horrible communicable disease, however when he tries to hold her back she starts screaming BLOODY MURDER and throwing her body on the floor. Glamorous, I know. Try not to be too jealous of me, ok?

Then there was yesterday. Hubs and I were cleaning up dinner in the kitchen when we hear a blood curdling scream from the bathroom. Hubs runs in to hear this, "E just threw his PEE all over me." And he had. He had peed in his little potty, taken the cup out and thrown it on his brother. We think intentionally. Is it too mean to say that we waited until we left the room and laughed our heads off? Oh dear.

 Balloon Festival

E's favorite balloon was "Evil Dr. Pigchalk" (If you know Toy Story than you know it is Evil Dr. Porkchop)

 Freedom Run (Before)
After (E had to find a medal to wear too, since we all had one.)
 Grand Parade

Aunt C was really excited to be in the picture. :-)

Miss H was so tired she couldn't even make it the 6  blocks to the car before falling asleep.
 Iphone time with Grandpa
 Fireworks

This is Hub's favorite photo. What can I say? Miss H is such a lady.

Staycation

This year we decided that rather than going on a long trip somewhere we would instead go on a "staycation." My mom came into town and we did things around town that we have always wanted to do but never have. We had a lot of fun and realized that we should probably do these things more often.
We went on a tour of a local candy factory, it was awesome!
Then we went on a tour of a local cookie packaging plant. It was ok. It was worth doing since it was so close to the other factory but it's more of a one time thing.

This was so cute. When we visited the temple and saw the Christus statue E had to touch it. I'm not sure if he was allowed to, but I thought it was so sweet--he wanted to hold his hand.
We went bowling...

This was actually really cute. We did mini-golf and we had the run of the place. All of the kids had to participate and Miss H was hilarious. She kept following everyone around and stealing their ball. G was the only kid who semi understood what he was supposed to do, E just threw his ball and ran around the course. It was a pretty good thing no one else was there.

I love this picture of Miss H's little toddle.

Highlights of Mini Golf:
Hubs got attacked by a bird 3 times
We saw the biggest, most gorgeous butterfly everywhere
E fell in a "water trap" and couldn't get out. Then he tried to take his clothes off because he was soaked. We were all laughing so hard we couldn't help him at first. Good thing the water was shallow.
Finally, we took the kids to a pirate themed pizza restaurant.
The whole gang turned up
I had to post this picture of my sister and her husband because she kept talking about how Hubs took an ugly one of her. Haha, I love the look on my brother in law's face. (Sorry guys--don't be too mad!!)
