E's soccer career

I will post later about E playing soccer, but here's a great shot of him sacrificing his body for the ball. We can't stop laughing. 

For some reason he doesn't think it was quite as humorous. 

First day of school(s)

I finally downloaded pictures off our cameras and it turns out that all we have is the kids first days of school. Perfect, since that's about all I'm up for blogging right now. :-) 

G started first grade. He is gone all day and we both love it!! He enjoys school and it is so nice knowing that he is learning and doing what he needs to be doing while I only have the other two at home.

 E also started preschool this year. If you ask him he'll say that sometimes he loves it and sometimes he doesn't, but he is doing really well and is usually excited to go. 

  

 Whenever I ask the boys what they learned or did in school the standard response is, "nothing." I've discovered, however, that periodically they will offer up information in their own time that gives me clues as to what they are doing and learning. I'm glad that they are enjoying themselves, and Miss H and I are loving spending some one on one time together.
