Vacation

We just got back from a fun visit to my parents' house for about a week and a half. We took a super fun trip last year and Hubby didn't get to go. So this year we re-created our trip and brought Hubs along. These pictures are all out of order but I really don't want to mess with them that much so, sorry about that! I'll try not to be too confusing.
We started out by going to the children's museum in town. Notice how thrilled E was to stop and take a picture. My mom noted that he was only a blur in all of her pictures. AMEN--at least the pictures are true to life huh?
Their Auntie (who is a hygienist) would be proud. After E brushed the alligator's teeth, he tried to brush his own.

We headed down to the beach and had a good time at the Aquarium.
Watching the Sea Otters (I'm not posting a ton of these pictures since they are all of the backs of the boy's heads!)
G and E (and Grandpa) love the beach.
It was a sad moment when E realized the water is like -20 degrees.
But that didn't stop them from running around for a couple hours straight.
We visited the factory where they make the cheese we buy. I think it was the world's fastest tour!
When we came home we immediately went berry picking.
E ate his fill and decided to run away for the rest of the time. I thought taking him to a huge farm would be a good idea. Well it turns out that it just gives him more room to run and crops to hide him. NOT GREAT.
Miss H was not impressed, given that she can't eat any of the berries.

Later in the week we went to the local air-show.

My dad knows the people at the airport so they let G sit in one of the little helicopters.
There was also an F-18 there and the pilot let G and Hubbs come up for a quick look. It was pretty cool because he was really only doing it for some family friends but we asked and he let us look too. We felt really special and it was super nice of him.
There was a Harrier jet there as well. It was sooooo loud. Whenever it did anything (like hover for 5 minutes straight) E would snuggle up tight to me and say, "here it comes!!"
We did some normal stuff, like go to the grocery store. Of course the boys had to have the car cart (and fight over it).
This is proof that I actually went. Oh and check out those little baby sandals. Girls are sooo fun to dress.
Miss H continues to be a delightful baby. What a sweetheart.
When we were done we were all exhausted! This is the boys in the hotel on the way home.
E is in a phase where he likes to put underwear on his head. He could only find his swim diapers, though, so they had to do.
It's exhausting being beautiful.
Finally, the girls didn't get much face time so we took our own pictures later.

When I was looking at this picture it made me a little sad because I remembered that my sister has lived in town ever since I started having babies. She just recently moved away so H is the first baby she hasn't been around to see for her whole life. I know she would love to be here and love this sweet baby with me.

Anyhoo, we had a wonderful time. This isn't even half of what we did. We were all really sad to leave and we missed our Grandma and Grandpa all the way home. We did get to stop and play with Hubby's dad and his wife and had a lot of fun there. So by the time we got home we were missing 2 sets of parents/grandparents instead of one. Overall it was a huge success!

Thanks everyone for helping us have such a fun vacation. We love you all and miss you!

Every picture of E and H I just start laughing. E is making either a funny face or running and poor H is in the baby bjorn and can barely peek her head over the top of it. We miss baby H a lot :( and will have to visit soon.
